This spring, Stars Dance Hallandale is thrilled to invite you into an enchanted evening of dance — a single night where the stories you grew up with step off the page and onto the stage.
Once Upon a Dream gathers our students of every age and level to reimagine some of the most beloved fairytale moments through the universal language of movement. Castles and forests, heroes and dreamers, mischief and magic — each scene unfolds through a different style of dance, from the precision of classical ballet and the lyricism of contemporary, to the rhythm of jazz, the spark of hip hop, the energy of acro, and the elegance of ballroom. Every dancer, from our youngest beginner taking her very first bow to our most advanced performer on pointe, plays a part in bringing this dream to life.
Set to a score that weaves cinematic classics with fresh, modern arrangements, the performance moves between tenderness and triumph, whimsy and wonder — a tapestry of music and movement that celebrates imagination in all its forms.
